Steve Lowe enters his eighth season as President of the Muskegon Lumberjacks in 2026-27. A two-time Clark Cup champion, Lowe has played a pivotal role in the organization's continued growth and success on and off the ice.
Since arriving in Muskegon, Lowe has helped establish the Lumberjacks as one of the premier development organizations in junior hockey. Under his leadership, the franchise has captured the 2025 Clark Cup Championship, made back-to-back Clark Cup Final appearances, and consistently produced NHL Draft picks and NCAA talent.
Before joining the Lumberjacks, Lowe spent nine seasons with the Tri-City Storm. He joined the organization as a scout during the 2010-11 season before serving as Director of Hockey Operations from 2011-13. Lowe was then promoted to President of Hockey Operations, a position he held for six seasons. During his tenure, Tri-City won the 2016 Clark Cup and the 2019 Anderson Cup.
Throughout his executive career, Lowe has built a reputation for identifying and developing elite talent. Between his time in Tri-City and Muskegon, he has worked with 64 NHL Draft picks, including 22 players who have gone on to skate in the National Hockey League, while helping more than 200 players earn NCAA commitments.
As a player, Lowe spent three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Soo Greyhounds, London Knights, Belleville Bulls, North Bay Centennials, and Ottawa 67's before playing collegiately at St. Thomas University. He went on to play five professional seasons in the UHL, WCHL, and ECHL, appearing in 168 career games.
A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Lowe resides in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with his wife, Christy, and their daughters, Lahana and Lily.
