After joining the Muskegon Lumberjacks organization as a scout in 2021, Wade Chiodo was promoted to Assistant General Manager in October 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in player evaluation, development, and hockey operations to the Lumberjacks front office.
A native of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, Chiodo’s hockey background began as a player, where he spent three seasons competing in the United States Hockey League with the Des Moines Buccaneers. Following his junior career, Chiodo continued his playing career at the collegiate level, spending three seasons with the Bemidji State University Beavers of NCAA Division I hockey.
Following his playing career, Chiodo transitioned into hockey operations, holding multiple positions throughout junior and high school hockey both behind the bench and in front office roles. His experience in scouting, player development, and roster construction has helped him become a valuable asset in identifying and developing talent at every level of the game.
In addition to his role with the Lumberjacks, Chiodo serves as the Director of Player Personnel for the Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League. Through his work with both organizations, he continues to build relationships with players and families while helping guide athletes toward their next steps in hockey.
Entering the 2026–27 season, Chiodo continues to play an integral role in the Lumberjacks hockey operations department, assisting with roster management, player development, and the continued pursuit of championships in Muskegon.
