Lizz Child

Lizz Child joined the Muskegon Lumberjacks as Digital Media Manager during the 2025–26 season, bringing a wealth of experience in hockey storytelling, digital strategy, and audience engagement.

Originally from Central California, Lizz began her professional hockey career as the beat writer and social media coordinator for the San Jose Barracuda during the 2022–23 season. In that role, she helped elevate the Barracuda’s digital presence, driving the organization’s social media platforms into the top three in the American Hockey League for follower growth and engagement.

From 2023 to 2026, Lizz served as an Associate Content Creator at FloSports, contributing to FloHockey’s coverage of the sport at every level. During her time with FloHockey, she played a key role in producing content that helped drive record-breaking growth in views, engagement, monetization, and audience development while creating new ways for fans to connect with the game.

Entering the 2026–27 season, Lizz continues to manage the Lumberjacks’ digital content efforts, focusing on expanding the team’s online presence, highlighting the stories of its players and staff, and creating engaging experiences for fans both inside Trinity Health Arena and around the hockey world.
