Mignone joined the Lumberjacks coaching staff during the 2025 offseason. A native of Ramsey, NJ, Mignone brings playing and coaching experience at the Junior, College, and Professional Hockey levels to the Jacks bench in 2025-26.
His playing career featured four years at Lebanon College, where he recorded 80 points in 100 NCAA Division III games over four years. After college, Mignone made the jump to pro hockey with stops in the Federal Hockey League (FHL), Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), and a season in Australia in the AIHL.
On the bench, Mignone was with the Johnson and Wales Wildcats (NCAA DIII) for a pair of seasons as an assistant coach before returning to Junior Hockey as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Rochester Grizzlies of the NA3HL. After one season, Mignone jumped to the NAHL, where he spent four seasons with the St. Cloud Norsemen (Assoc. Head Coach) and Chippewa Steel (Head Coach)
Most recently, Mignone has been on the bench for the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks as an assistant coach for the past two seasons, and coached Team Orange at the USA Hockey National U16 Select Camp.
