Andrew DeBrincat joined the Muskegon Lumberjacks coaching staff as a skills coach during the 2022–23 season, bringing a wealth of playing experience and a passion for player development to the organization. Entering the 2026–27 season, DeBrincat continues to play a key role in helping Lumberjacks players refine their skills and prepare for the next level of their hockey careers.
A native of Michigan, DeBrincat’s playing career included four seasons of NCAA Division I hockey at American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. During his time with the Yellow Jackets, he appeared in 146 games, gaining valuable experience competing at the collegiate level.
Following his collegiate career, DeBrincat transitioned to professional hockey, spending four seasons in the ECHL. He concluded his playing career as a member of the Kalamazoo Wings, the ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
With the Lumberjacks, DeBrincat works directly with players to develop individual skills, improve their overall game, and prepare them for success both in Muskegon and at the next level of hockey.
