Summary

Biography

A 2022 Phase II draft pick of the Lumberjacks, Veilleux joined the team for five games as an affiliate player during the 2022-2023 season. Also during that season Veilleux represented Canada at the World Hockey Under-17 Challenge.

In 2023-2024 Veilleux led all USHL rookie defenseman with 32 points while playing in all 62 regular season games. Along with his high point total, Veilleux's +21 rating landed him a spot on the All-USHL Rookie First Team.
 
Son of Hugo and Catherine Veilleux, Xavier has a brother Thierry and sister Alice.
