Muskegon Lumberjacks

Ian Wood is entering his Twelfth year as the Athletic Trainer with the Lumberjacks in 2024-25.

Prior to working for the Lumberjacks, he was an athletic training student on an internship during his last semester at Central Michigan University, where he graduated in 2013.

Wood was born and raised in Bay City, MI, and graduated from Essexville-Garber High School in 2007. While in high school, he played football, ran track, and participated in ice hockey.

Ian graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science degree with a concentration in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. Wood has also assisted working with the USA Hockey Officiating Development Program.

He currently lives in Muskegon with his wife Katie, and daughter Reagan.
