Biography

Gridin was selected by the Lumberjacks during the 2022 USHL Phase II Draft. In his first year in the USHL during the 2022-2023 season Gridin appeared in 40 games for the Jacks where he recorded 11 goals and 9 assists for 20 points.
 
Son of Andrey and Elena, Matvei has a sister Karina.
