Biography

Kurt comes to Muskegon with previous Junior Hockey experience with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the AJHL. A native of Darien, CT, Gurkan is committed to play NCAA DI College Hockey in his home state with the Yale Bulldogs in the ECAC.
 
Son of Tarkan and Alicia Gurkan, Kurt has one brother named Luke.
