St. Clair joined the Lumberjacks mid-way through the 2024-2025 season as the Associate Head Coach. During the 2024 offseason, he was named the seventh head coach in Lumberjacks USHL history.
His first stop in the USHL was as a player with the Fargo Force for three seasons from 2008-2011. While a member of the Force, St. Clair was part of numerous deep runs through the Clark Cup Playoffs before jumping to the NCAA and the NCHC at the University of North Dakota. In college, St. Clair won three conference championships: one in the WCHA and a pair in the NCHC, along with an NCAA National Championship in 2016.
Since graduating, St. Clair has been behind the bench in the USHL, NAHL, and NCAA. Most recently, he was the head coach of the Omaha Lancers from October 9, 2024, to December 2, 2024, with a 6-10-2 record in 18 games. In 2022, as the Associate Head Coach for the Sioux City Musketeers, St. Clair won a Clark Cup Championship.
His other coaching stops include the University of Maine as an assistant coach in 2018-19 and the Minnesota Wilderness of the NAHL as the head coach in 2023-24.
