MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Lumberjacks and Omaha Lancers have announced a trade on Monday afternoon that includes a player and draft pick.
In the trade Muskegon receives a 2024 USHL Phase II Draft 5
th round pick. Heading the other way to Omaha is 2004 birth year goaltender Lucas Szyszka. Along with the goaltender Muskegon sends a 2024 Phase II 7th round pick.
The trade is the second in recent history between the teams with the last one made during the 2023 Phase II draft.
The Jacks and Lancers met at the Dick's Sporting Good's Fall Classic for the first game of the 2023-2024 season (MKG, 6-2), and will meet again on January 19
th for a two-game series in Omaha.
